Pictures from Browse and Buy Annual Summer Sale held in conjunction with the Horseheads village yard sales each year. There was participation by large number of parishioners thereby making it a great success.
Browse and Buy is the thrift shop run by volunteers and members of the Parish. We have been in existance for more than 20 years. It was begun by Barbara Statham on a very small basis open monthly . It has grown to occupy much of the basement of the Parish hall and is open every Saturday from 10am to 2pm except holiday weekends. Proceeds are donated to area community groups including the Horseheads Food Pantry, Horseheads Community Animal Shelter, SPCA, and Reins for Hope. Each month we chose an organization to whom we will donate and they will recieve the profits for that month. We are always looking to expand our volunteer group!
We are accepting donations for Browse and Buy on the 3rd Tuesday each month from 10am to 12noon. Due to limited storage we are only accepting men’s and children’s clothing and shoes in good condition (no stains or rips please). Also small household goods, books, toys again in good condition.
No electronics such as TVs, VCR/DVD players or record players. Also no tapes, VCR videos.
Please come to the front door of the parish hall.
