Everyone is asked to bring at least one food item in to leave in the basket in the narthex at the back of the church or the entry hall in the Parish Hall. They welcome all non-perishable food items A list of the specific items requested each month is listed in the weekly bulletin.

Walk the Labyrinth
St. Matthew’s will have a Labyrinth Walk in the parish hall from 10am-2pm. The labyrinth will remain in place and be open on Sunday March 22 as well from 10am-12pm. All are welcome. A time to contemplate during this Lenten season. All are welcome. Take a little or much time as you need for quiet reflection.
The labyrinth holds significant religious meaning, often symbolizing a spiritual journey.
In Christianity, it represents the believer's path toward a closer relationship with God, serving as a tool for reflection and meditation
More broadly, labyrinths symbolize the twists and turns of life, guiding individuals toward inner peace and self-discovery.
They are seen as pathways that help individuals navigate life's challenges, encouraging patience and strength during their spiritual journeys.
Many people find walking a labyrinth to be a source of comfort and inspiration, aiding in prayer and contemplation.
