On Saturday, August 23, 2025 St. Matthew’s will be hosting a Chicken BBQ Fundraiserin Teal Park to help bring awareness to the topic of Appendix Cancer. All proceeds will go to help Allena McGlaughlin with expenses during her treatment. The Chicken will be cooked by Stearn’s Poultry of Alfred, NY. We will be pre-selling tickets as well as having chicken available for walk-ins. Dinners will cost $15 each and include a roll, macaroni salad and baked beans. We will also have 50/50 drawings and raffle baskets. Sales will begin at 11:30 am until gone. We need to sell as many advance tickets as we can sell! Please see a vestry member to get tickets and then please pre-sell as many as you can!!
