The third weekend each month is dedicated to St Matthew’s contributions to the Horseheads Food Pantry. Everyone is asked to bring at least one food item in to leave in the basket in the narthex at the back of the church or the entry hall in the Parish Hall. They welcome all non-perishable food items and empty egg cartons. A list of the specific items requested each month is listed in the weekly bulletin.

A total of 250 items were donated from St. Matthews April monthly food drive. We were able to put 173 items on the shelves, however, 77 of the items had to be discarded. Please note items without an expiration, an expired date, opened, damaged, dented, leaking must be discarded per Food Bank rules. If you have questions please feel free to ask me.
